All travelers to Burkina Faso must have an international vaccination booklet which will be requested by health workers at the Ouagadougou airport. Vaccination against yellow fever (yellow fever vaccine) is mandatory. It is preferable to do it about ten days before departure, because of possible reactions: outbreak of fever or headache. This vaccine must be renewed every ten years. Caution not obligatory: plan a preventive medical treatment against malaria (ask your doctor). Main approved vaccination centers in France :
