The trainees' committee of the Institute of Information and Communication Sciences and Techniques (ISTIC) actively contributed to the Internal Tourism Season 2024 by organizing a tourist excursion from August 8 to 11, 2024. This trip took them through the beautiful regions of Hauts-Bassins and Cascades, showcasing the diversity and richness of Burkina Faso's tourist heritage.

During their journey, the trainees explored several iconic sites and tourist attractions along the Bobo-Dioulasso – Banfora – Sindou route. They also had the opportunity to meet with traditional authorities, enriching their cultural experience.

Sites visited:

- The Grand Mosque of Dioulassoba: A historical monument and a must-see in Bobo-Dioulasso, symbolizing religious and cultural diversity.

- The Old Quarter of Dioulassoba: An immersion into the history and ancestral traditions of the city.

- The Sya Marigot: Discovering the legends and myths surrounding this mystical place.

- The Sindou Peaks: Exploring the breathtaking landscapes of this unique rock formation.

- Lake Tingrela: Admiring the natural beauty of the lake and its famous hippopotamuses.

This initiative aligns with the dynamic promotion of domestic tourism encouraged by ONTB and demonstrates the commitment of the younger generation to promoting the cultural and natural treasures of Burkina Faso.
